In the event of poor weather conditions, such as snow, we will always do our best to remain open in order to keep disruption to the children’s education to a minimum.
However, any number of reasons may require us to close the school on occasions e.g., heavy snowfall means the school site is not safe, failure of essential deliveries to get through, staff encountering problems with travelling to work, problems with heating etc.
In such instances, we will contact parents/carers, as early as possible via the MCAS app (announcements tab, via text and email), the school website, as well as the school Facebook & Twitter account.

We will always endeavour to inform parents as soon as possible, before the start of the school day, if school will be closed so please regularly check your phone.
